Painting Shapes in Watercolor
A two color challenge!!!

Using watercolor paint, students first paint with shapes and outlines.


Video Lesson: 


Materials Needed:
Paint Tray 
yellow and blue watercolor
paper towel
paintbrushes
Bowl of water
paper plate for mixing (instead of palette)

Once painting is dry, students draw in Sharpie

There was an artist named Wayne Thiebaud, who loved sweet treats. Don't forget to draw a line behind the objects for your table and add shadows. The shadows should be the same color as your table, just much darker.

  Create a piece of art beginning with  one image from a magazine. Use your imagination Use humor Use a sharpie Directions: 1. Select an image from a magazine. 2. Cut out carefully. 3.
